On the 4th of July we went to a ward breakfast which was really delicious and fun. Our ward is so awesome. We love the people and feel so welcome. Then in the afternoon we went to our neighbors house for hot dogs and drinks. It was so hot we all stayed inside until about 6:00, when we finally ventured out for some street fireworks. We couldn't hack the heat and left pretty early. It is seriously so hot here. We are constantly dripping in sweat. Alex and I thought we were going to set out a blanket in the backyard after the kids were asleep and watch for fireworks but instead we went to bed at 9:00. Here are some pics from July. We love you all and miss you dearly. Can't wait to go to DC in August and see Mom and Dad.
Sloane's hair is finally long enough for piggy tails. Although they don't stay in for long.

Sloane's hair is seriously so crazy. Even if I blow dry it straight down it looks like this in about 5 minutes. The Humidity does not help. I sort of love it though.

Oh Kathy...I'm loving your updates lately. So nice to see your cute girls! And yes, love Sloane's hair :) Glad you're doing good...seems like a nice place..other than the heat :)
