I bawled and bawled and bawled on my due date. It was 116 degrees outside and I was carrying a watermelon around Las Vegas.
Ask my mom about that day. I completely lost my mind; it was unbelievable to me that my baby hadn't come yet.
Due dates really are stupid. Everyone said, "Ohhh ho ho ho, take advantage and get sleep now while you can!" Sleep? Oh you mean that eight hour period of time where TOD sleeps and I get up to pee every 45 minutes?
Here's my ONLY consolation: The coolest day of your life is coming REALLY soon! And it WILL come. :)
i think people who have their babies early are stupid as well. you are like, almost a week over?? i'm due in 2 days and i'm certain i'll go over too. no fun.
I was 11 days past my due date and had been on bed rest for 3 weeks prior to that. And all my friends that were due at the same time kept having their babies early. It stinks. I'm sorry.
Kath, you need to send me your new address. I sent a big package to the provo address and it just came back to me and they made me pay for it, those jerks! I may resend the package or just send a gift card. I am starting to think that we are jinxed with the USPS. Congrats on River my dear! I love you.

I agree completely. All of mine were late...and I really hate that. Good luck though, in a couple of weeks, you'll forget all about it.
P.S. Raspberry-leaf tea put me into labor with one of my kids...it's worth a shot. I think you can find it at health-food stores.
