More secret gardening success

My secret garden did so good. I've had tons of zuccini and now my beets are finally big enough to harvest. Yipee!!!! I think I'll be getting some brussell sprouts later in the fall. No one has pulled them out yet and they seems to be doing quite well. Man I'm such a good gardener.

I love beets. But Amy I don't love love enough to make borsch.

I think the gardening gene runs in your family! Way to go!

I got some zuchini at the farmers market and I made bread with it. Did not turn out as good as yours from the secret garden. I don't think it was because of the veggie, I am pretty sure it was the chef. or should I say cook? The middle is ultra mushy. I think the pan was too big or I didn't cook it at a high enough temp.

I wish I could grow beets like that. They don't turn out here for some reason. This is my second year in a row to try beets and they don't look anything like yours. Could you please mail me a few. Or even better. Come and visit and I'll make you some borscht. Miss you!
