The Windrivers Wyoming
Here are some pictures from our Windrivers trip. Alex has been wanting to take me here for a very long time and we finally did it. We had such a blast. I've never seen such a beautiful place. We hiked about 45 miles and I was very proud of myself. Alex's mom and dad came with us and I was so glad to have Mardi there with me. She is such an amazing woman. I don't know many 55 year olds that could have handled it. She was amazing and never complained once. She is quite the inspiration. I hope when I am 55 I will be as tough as her. During our second day we got stuck in a hail storm with 1/2 inch hail pounding down on us for about an hour and a half. I got brusies the hail was so big. I caught eight fish and Scott and Alex cooked them on the beach. I've never tasted such delicious fish. The mosquitoes were bad and I look like I have the chicken pocks. But even with the bruises and the bites it was a wonderful experience. I'm so glad I married a man that inspires me to explore things that I know if I married anyone else I never would have seen.

It looks like a beautiful trip. I am so proud of you Kath. I think you have no need to worry about being tough when you are 55. You continually push yourself to go beyond what you have done in the past. I'm glad you are home safe, minus a few bites and bruises. We missed you on friday.
